Past and Present Unit

Hi friends! Are you off this week? I am and I am SO excited to have a few days to spend with family. I get to hang out with this handsome little guy tomorrow and Tuesday so my productivity will be non-existent!
Today, I found these ADORABLE little clips from Francesca’s for his teacher. He LOVES his teacher, and I am so thankful for her!!
Do you have Francesca’s by you? I freaking LOVE that store. They have the best jewelry, accessories, and gifts. Their clothes are SO cute too!

I also put up our tree already! Have you?! I love it so much! You can’t tell how sparkly it is. I think every ornament has glitter, hahaha. I hate that the photo makes it look brown. It’s not! It’s all gold and silver. And I love it. 🙂

And I jut have to share this sweet little family portrait one of my babies made me. Your heart is melting right now, isn’t it?!?! Don’t you love how she spelled Tucker?!?! I need to add his name to our Word Wall!

Now on to my new unit! We have been working hard on Past and Present this week. I noticed that almost everything I found was centered around Thanksgiving in the Past and Present. I did want to hit that a little, but I wanted them to be able to discuss it in other contexts too! So I made this little unit!

In the unit, here’s what you will find! 🙂

Anchor charts for easy print and go! My kiddos needed a bit of help with this vocabulary and these are perfect for ELLs!

TONS of picture sorts! There is a sort with clipart and also a clipart with words. It would make a perfect venn-diagram!

I also included sorts with real photographs to build their schema about what things from the past actually looked like. I was shocked how many kiddos had never seen these! You can do them in whole group, in a pocket chart, or give them their own sheets to do it independently!

You will also find writing sheets for them after the sorts!

I also made a little reader for them to complete with me. It’s 2 to a page so you can save on ink! If you wanted the whole page version, just email me! 🙂

Finally, there are 2 quick assessment pages for them to sort and color!

I would love to give some of these away! The first two followers to comment with their email will get this unit for free! 🙂 You can click on any of the pictures to see the product in TPT!
