Kindness in the Classroom

Hi guys! I wanted to stop by and share a fun little side project I just recently started! If I had to choose the thing I am most passionate about in the classroom it would absolutely be relationships! I believe that the teacher-student relationship has the power to make or break a school year and a students’ success! In building relationships with my students, I am constantly striving to be KIND to them. I believe you might need to be firm, or tough, but no matter what, we can always be kind. As I model this with my students, I work hard to make sure they understand how important is it that THEY are kind to others.

This summer, I decided to start an Instagram account full of ideas for promoting kindness in the classroom. I have been finding ideas and posts to share with you all about kindness! Some things relate to teachers reacting to students, some are lessons to do with your kiddos, and some are quotes that we can apply to every area of our life!
