Valentine Bags For Your Class Party
Hi! Today I wanted to share a few fun downloads to make your Valentine’s party or playdate a success!
My daughter’s school doesn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, so we met up with her class to exchange cards and candy! It was SO much fun! I brought my face painting kit, and they had a blast! You can find the free download at the bottom of this post!
We met at a restaurant with a great little playground, so I didn’t need many activities! If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, be sure to check out Hat Creek Burgers! We are frequent visitors, because I can chat with friends while my daughter and her friends play on the playground.
The following links are affiliate links, so I receive a small stipend when you purchase through my link. It’s at no cost to you, and I use those funds to keep my blog running.
I made each child a bag with their name on it for easy “passing!” I know that many schools have kids create boxes or bags at home, and I love this idea! I do think it can be challenging for working parents to make time for these projects, so I always encourage these projects be voluntary. I would also make sure I had an alternate option at school, like these bags.
I grabbed this set of bags on Amazon, and it worked out to about .50 cents a bag. We will use these for holidays and birthdays in the future, because they are so easy to paint or add stickers to!
I pre-cut these monster pieces, because my daughter is still working on her scissor skills. Some of the shapes were pretty challenging, with the “fur,” so they would need pretty good scissor control. Like always, I love using Astrobrights cardstock and paper. It’s such high quality, and I love the colors. Even their white cardstock is bright, and my favorite for printing activities and gifts.
As they got to the “party,” they found their bag and created a little monster. I wanted them to have lots of choices so they would all be unique. I think I used 6 different colors, and just printed them randomly. I LOVE how they turned out. Once they were done creating their monster, we just glued them to their baggies.
