CVC Concentration
And now for a freebie! Please excuse the horrible picture! And my spacing! And the border that hangs off that I just can’t bring myself to get the ladder for. But this is the Bulletin Board outside my room. I LOVE it.
At the beginning of the year, each of my kiddos colored a square, and did NOT put their names on them. I wrote them really small on the back. This way, no one knows where their square is except for them. 🙂 As they move up in Guided Reading, they get to move their square. It’s so simple, but they really love it. Plus, it’s a simple way to show data! It would also be a GREAT cross over into graphs. I only teach ELA and Social Studies…but if I did Math, you better believe we would use this baby all the time to analyze data!!
I put it together as a little freebie for you. I hope you can use it!! If you do, be sure to send me pictures!!!
We have been hard at work focusing on Nonfiction. As an intro, we did this super fun and easy activity I found on Pinterest! They really liked it, and it was a great pre-assessment for me! It also led to some great conversations!!
You can see the corner of my freebie anchor charts in the bottom corner.
I am working on a Nonfiction unit that I’m hoping to post soon! I hope you have a great day off (WAHOO!!!!!!). Don’t forget to leave the URL of your pin!! 🙂
