I Love Books!

I’m so excited for this linky party! What teacher doesn’t love books?! I mean, really?!? Here are some of my favorites that I haven’t shared about before! Click the links to grab your own copy over at Amazon!
If you haven’t read it, it is HILARIOUS. All of the crayons write letters about why they are quitting on their friend Duncan. I will warn you…the peach crayon will have your littles rolling…for like several weeks.
Who doesn’t love Mo?! I hadn’t read any of the Elephant and Piggie books until we did our author study, and I think they might be my favorite! They are HILARIOUS!!! And they are actually fairly easy for firsties to read!
I saw this book on someone’s blog…I don’t remember who. 🙁 But it’s precious! Sweet little Spoon wants to be a knife, or a fork, or ANYTHING but a spoon! It is so sweet, and we used it that week for our “R Time” lesson (a time we spend each week talking about being good friends, building confidence, etc). It’s KIND of abstract, but most of mine loved it and it led to some great inference and conversations! There is even a sequel called “Chopsticks” that I can’t wait to read!
And finally, one of my tried and true go tos for the beginning of the year, or anytime we need a little reminder that we can do ANYTHING we want if we don’t give up! My aunt gave this to my at my graduation party, and I am so thankful she did. The others in the series (Press Here, Ish, etc) are great too! But this one is definitely my favorite!
Now hop on over and check out some other great books recommended by teachers!
