End of the Year Fun
Hi friends!! I try not to blog about my products too much…my favorite thing about teaching blogs is IDEAS…not products! So, I stinkin’ love the idea of the Bright Ideas Blog Hop! But, I wanted to share my updated End of the Year Products. If you are anything like me, I am exhausted! I want to spend all of my time soaking up every last minute with my sweeties, and want it to be as stress free as possible for all of us!! I still have some testing to do, and we still have ALOT of learning to do!! But, I’m hoping that these products make the next few weeks a bit easier!
First up, Is It Summer Yet? I made this packet for the last week of school…most of my materials are put away and I am working on finishing up last minute testing and cleaning! It’s SUPER low prep for you, and the kiddos could rotate between the activities or you could have everyone work on the same thing.
This packet is similar in some ways, but I’m super excited about some of the new things I just added. 🙂 I really use my Practice Packets ALL the TIME! Even this morning, a teammate needed some emergency sub plans, and I just pulled my Spring Practice Packet up. So, my Summer Practice Packet is just like that! Tons of reproducible pages to use as sub plans, homework, morning work, or quick assessments!
BUT…this packet was created to send home over the summer….SOOOOO…I included a parent letter, certificates for kiddos that complete it, and a checklist for students to complete. There are 6 pages of checklists with 10 activities each. The activities are short, and super engaging. Some activities are things like “help your sister around the house” and others are “find 5 adjectives in a magazine.” You could pick and choose how many checklists to send home!
Honestly, I’m really excited to send this product home. I think the kiddos will love it. My team and I are planning on sending the checklist, and a few of the practice pages. It’s totally up to the teacher!! 🙂
Now…onto Memory Lane! My babes LOVE talking about themselves…and their friends…and me, haha!! 😉 So…I updated this packet just for them! There is a half page version for those of us (like me!) who are desperately trying to save paper. And there is a full page version that’s perfect for kiddos that need a little more writing room!
And finally, awards!!! I LOVE celebrating all the special and unique things about each one of my kiddos. We do awards every 9 weeks for honor roll and perfect attendance. I love that these kiddos get rewarded..not everyone does. I think that’s important. BUT at the end of the year, EVERYONE gets celebrated!
